We will have a great week searching the big, wide wonderful world of folk art to make our creations from paint, paper, wire, clay, wood and who knows what else. The STUDIO 222 kiln is fired up so we can do some clay work and the Folk Art exhibit at the TELFAIR MUSEUM has given me lots of inspiration already!
Space is limited and the June 20 camp is full.

Studio 222 is in motion! The first class started last week and we had a great time. We created large clay owls that are now fired and ready for glazing. Having a small number of children allows for making decisions as a group as to what we want to do. We settled on creating some handmade paper, making stamps to print on the paper and painting!

ART STUDIO 222 is almost completed! Many hours and lots of hard work hard has gone into renovating my garage into a space in which to have fun and be creative! The first Modern Young Masters students will join me next Wednesday and we will embark on a 4 week journey in art. I see the creation of birds and nest sculptures, fantastical BIG fish, tiny chairs and the influence of Modigliani in our future.
ART STUDIO 222 is a work in progress. The pottery kiln will be installed this month and I am developing several adult workshops for April.
